Moto jackets are taking a backseat this spring and some new styles are taking the wheel. Now, I am not saying that you should completely forget about the moto style, but next time you want to throw on a jacket when you go out, try some of these new trends.

The Bomber

This sporty layering piece has left it’s athletic past behind and is getting edgier for spring with colorful prints, textures, mesh and embellished details, and fabrics. Like the moto jacket, these jackets are very versatile and complement any girly dress or chic dressy shorts.

The Boxy Crop

Although moto jackets can still serve you well this spring, think about adding these silhouettes to your wardrobe. These jackets come in a variety of prints and textures to pair easily with office-ready apparel or your favorite go-to jeans.

The Collarless Coat

This item has become a strong layering piece for spring with the long, streamlined structure and absence of the collar and lapel. The best part about this trend is that you can take some risks with fun colors and embellishments. These jackets work wonders with leather pants or body-con dresses for those cool date nights.

Hopefully all these tips will keep you chicly warm during the cool spring months. A girl can never have too many jackets, right?
