Live from Hollywood, it’s Dancing with the Stars! ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere its 35th season with a two-night premiere on Sept. 15 and Sept. 16.
Though Dancing with the Stars has been around for decades, the reality dance show has had a renaissance over the past few seasons, creating record-shattering viewership and fan interaction.
On Sept. 2, the season 35 cast was announced on Good Morning America, getting the fans excited for the upcoming episodes. This season’s cast includes a spectrum of America’s hottest celebrities including actors, TV personalities, athletes, and more.

Season 35 features the second ever female-female duo, pairing Sarah Jane Nader and new pro Hailey Bills. This has not happened since season 30, when TV personality JoJo Siwa was paired with pro Jenna Chmerkovskiy and they placed as the runner-ups.
Along with Bills, Dancing With the Stars welcomes new pro Adele Zaikman to the cast from the brand new spin-off show, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro. Airing for the first time this summer, Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro was a competition-style show where 12 professional dancers competed for a spot to be a pro on the new season. Zaikman was crowned the winner and partnered with Conor Leavitt, husband of season 34 contestant, Whitney Leavitt.
With the revival of Dancing With the Stars, season 35 will feature a two night premiere, the first time since season 27. On the first night, the male stars will compete, and on the second night, the female stars will compete. One pairing from each night will be eliminated, resulting in a duel elimination for week one.
Fans can interact and vote for their favorite celebrity pairings by texting the first name of favorite star to 21523. Fans can vote up to ten times per couple while the show is live on air.
Dancing With the Stars will air on Tuesday nights throughout the course of the season, streaming on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m ET.
