It’s officially spring break, so you know what that means? HC Spring Survival Kits! This week we received several AH-Mazing beauty products in our survival kits. Since I’m obsessed with lipsticks and especially Buxom products, I decided to try out the Buxom Va-Va PLUMP Shiny Liquid Lipstick.
Before first purchasing any Buxom products about a year or two ago, I was a bit skeptic because of the name and specifically because this brand is known as “The #1 Best-Selling Plumping Lip Gloss Franchise” from the plumping authority. I personally do not use plumpers because I feel that my lips are full enough, but there was just one color that I could not resist buying. Since that purchase I’ve been hooked so you know that I was excited AF to hear that we received Buxom products in our HC Spring Survival Kits.
We received the Buxom Va-Va-PLUMP Shiny Liquid Lipstick in “Wine Me,” and personally I was amazed that such a pigmented lipstick was not drying or even difficult applying. You can definitely say good-bye to the drying, matte lipsticks that leave your lips begging for some moisturizer!
I enjoy the tingling feeling that the lip gloss and lipsticks provide without irritating my lips. Typically, liquid lipsticks can be a bit messy and challenging to get an even coverage without a liner, but I was able to apply the Buxom lipstick without a liner and was still fully satisfied with the smooth application of the lipstick. The applicator of the lipstick provides a precise and bold, intense look!
I will say the color looks a lot brighter than expected when you see it in the tube which is why I included swatches below so that you are able to see how it actually comes out. I would definitely recommend that you all go to your nearest Sephora or Ulta and purchase one of the Buxom Lip Products.
You will not regret it… but do not blame me if you become obsessed.
