We are slowly approaching the end of our summer days, and what better time then now to check off all your summer fun bucket list ideas?  Sure, you’re busy between work and being hounded by your family to do chores now that you’re back in the house again, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy the remainder of warm summer days!  Use your creativity to your advantage and refer back to your childhood summers to motivate you for ideas.  For example, hitting the nearest amusement park for the day is STILL a blast regardless of how old you are getting.  Grab your friends, or an outgoing date and enjoy all of these summer bucket list ideas while you still can!
Water Parks: Grab a suit and some sun screen and venture to the closest water park for the day to hit the water slides and end your day floating the lazy river.  It’s a fun way to get your exercise in for the day climbing all those stairs, not to mention you get to enjoy a nice bronzed view of your partner in crime for the day ;)
Movies In The Park:Â Talk about a romantic summer night! Â Who wants to be inside a theater when you can be snuggling up on a blanket underneath the stars? Â If a drive-in movie theater is an option where you live, then definitely make sure not to pass that up!
Camping: Get in touch with your “outdoorsy” side, grab a tent and hit the wilderness. This means no iPhones, iPods or iPads; just you and nature getting to know each other a little better. Between the beautiful surroundings, the campfire and snuggling up in your tent to stay warm, I don’t see how this could go wrong for you. Just make sure to pack some bug spray and avoid running into bears!
Outdoor Concerts:Â Pack a picnic and some beverages and sit out on the lawn while enjoying music. Although indoor concerts can be a blast, take advantage of the nice weather and go breath in some fresh air at a concert in the park! Â Who knows, maybe you will get lucky and get to watch some fireworks at the end. If not, you can at least bank on being entertained by the drunk seniors attempting to dance or the hula-hooping hippies at the front!
Baseball Games: This is the perfect “break-the-ice” date.  If you don’t know sh** about baseball, don’t worry, you’re not alone!  You don’t need to know the players or the stats to enjoy a night at the ball game. Just grab a beer and a hot dog and cheer when everyone else does!  If your guy is sporty then all the better; he will be very impressed with your agenda for the evening and maybe you’ll score a home run.
So don’t waste another day sitting at home reading a trashy novel when you can be out there crossing off your bucket list! We all know at this point we are looking for excuses to avoid our family’s incessant harping anyways, so why not take advantage of summer 2013 and jump in a hot air balloon, grab a fishing pole or head to a festival or fair! It’s time to grab your pen and start crossing off.
