Wondering if the cute guy you met at a party Saturday night is looking to commit? Curious if your crush is good in bed? Want to warn us ladies that your former hookup or ex has a wandering eye? Or maybe you have a really great guy friend that you want the female population to know is available? LuLu, a new iPhone and Android app, allows women to do just that. The app’s FAQ section explains the purpose behind its creation and how it can help you in your love life:

“If you meet a guy at a party and hit it off, admit it: you’re going to Facebook and Google him when you get home. Lulu is the place to do your research. Except we’re not going to bore you with whether he’s registered to vote. No way. Lulu tells you the stuff you want to know: is he a heartbreaker or your future husband? Lulu is the fastest way you can find out if he has a good track record with the ladies.”

To ensure that only females are able to access the app, users log in with Facebook. From there, you can search any guy’s name or choose from the ones LuLu has recommended to you. If you want to write a review, you must first identify the guy as either “Ex-Boyfriend”, “Crush”, “Together”, “Hooked Up”, “Friend”, or “Relative”. LuLu will then give you a questionnaire quiz that rates them on attractiveness, humor, ambition, and manners (first kiss and sex ratings are included if you picked ex or hook up). Next, you can choose from pre-programmed hashtags to explain the “best” and “worst” things about the guy. Some of the compliments include #RespectsWomen, #Man’sMan, #SexualPanther, and #HoldsHisLiquor. The insults range from #F***edMeAndChuckedMe, #Mama’sBoy, #TotalF***ingDickhead, and #StillLovesHisEx. Since you can only select from pre-chosen comments, users can never get too feisty or rude about the men they’re reviewing. LuLu then spits out a calculated “rating” based off your quiz and averages it with the ratings that other users have submitted about him.

Basically, it’s a giant database of real women reviewing the men in their life so other women can be informed. You can read reviews of guys you’re interested in, review the great men in your life, or warn women to stay away from the bad ones. Boys, if you’re reading this, you can download the app LuLu Dude to gauge your standings with the ladies! Since you can’t access your reviews from LuLu, LuLu Dude gives you general information about the ratings women have given you so you know where to improve your game.

What do you think, collegiettes™? Is LuLu going to help your love life?
