We know her from the viral YouTube video of her and her younger sister, Maisy, singing a quirky yet beautiful rendition of “Call Your Girlfriend,” by Robyn, using two empty tubs of butter as their only instruments. It’s been seven years and the two prodigies continue to stun the world with their effortless singing voices.

Music was in their blood as they grew up with singers/musicians as parents, who taught both Lennon and Maisy to sing, as well as play guitar and piano. Not to mention, the pair of sisters did not have a single professional singing lesson growing up. Since the famous Youtube video hit the internet, Lennon, who is now 18, has performed with her sister on multiple news shows and the two were even cast two main characters in the TV show, Nashville, in 2012 up until a couple of years ago when the show had its final season. The two were given quite fitting characters, playing the daughters of a fictitious country star. Quiet fans have been waiting and watching to see if Lennon’s gorgeous voice would finally be heard on original songs instead of the usual covers she posts to social media.

Finally, after years of stalking her on Instagram waiting for any hint of music being released, Lennon finally dropped a single as well as an EP containing five songs earlier this year, and boy has it taken off. She is already on tour, playing sold-out show after sold-out show and killing it. Her fanbase continues to get bigger as she hints at more songs being released. Her indie voice, relatable lyrics and poppy tunes are drawing every age and gender in. Her last tour date is later this spring. Please, do yourself a favor and check her out.
