It’s that time of the term again; everyone is getting frazzled and stressed by last-minute projects and tests they put off studying for.  When you’re about to reach your breaking point, don’t consider dropping out.  Instead, take some inspiration from these influential women and think of all the great things you’ll be able to do with your future after you pass those finals!

Emma Watson didn’t get to be the wise, respectable young woman she is by avoiding her readings.

Beyoncé is an inspiration to women everywhere because she is incredible at everything from parenting to Super Bowl performances.

(also, we are all Michael Scott here)

Shonda Rhimes, the fabulous creator of the shows on TGIT (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder), couldn’t have come up with her phenomenal shows and characters without a quality education.

Sarah Koenig, one of the journalists who brought us the widely-acclaimed podcast Serial, got her degree from the University of Chicago and worked as a reporter before creating this gripping work.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg did not get to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States by slacking and goofing around.  She worked hard to get where she is.

Taylor Swift, arguably a music icon, has had to be resilient in her career, especially with regards to her pal Kanye West.  However, she did not stop when the going got tough, and neither should you.

Amy Poehler is another woman who does it all.  Writing, acting, producing – nothing can stop her.

And we can’t forget Tina Fey after Amy.  They truly are #friendshipgoals (and great role models for you and your best friend).

This is a short list of the inspirational women that I look up to.  These women are all role models, providing an example of what we should strive to do.  However, before we can become the best versions of ourselves, it’s important to study, pass those finals, and do our best work.

Happy finals studying!
