The Super Bowl comes around once a year and is a great opportunity to lure together all of your football fans and commercial loving friends. Whether you’re planning a Super Bowl party out of love for the game or just an excuse to host a fun party for all your friends here are some tips to make sure your party scores big!

1. Invite family, friends and even colleagues!Watching the game is only half the fun. Celebrate Super Bowl Sunday with good company and good conversation! When making your guest list, remember the more the merrier. Just make sure you have enough seating and space so everyone can see the big screen.

2. Decorations are essential!Decorations help set the mood for a good party. Let team colors dictate the decoration color scheme. Try starting with a football banner and streamers to hang. Strategically place mini footballs, team logos, balloons and other football-themed decorations around the party area. Party City offers a great selection of reasonably priced football décor!

3. Stock up on classic sports snacksChips, dip and pizza are essentially mandatory on game day. Along with these game day classics, go for a variety of finger foods that everyone will enjoy. It’s best to set up a buffet style table and encourage your guests to bring a side of their own! 4. Drinks!Enjoying a nice cold beer on Super Bowl Sunday is pretty much a given. So make sure your fridge is fully stocked! But of course, don’t forget about the non-alcoholic drinkers at your party and provide an assortment of sodas and juices to satisfy everyone. With the commotion of the game it is easy to lose track of your beverage. Avoid this by making drink tags or pass around a sharpie for people to write their names on plastic cups!

5. Games aside from the gameThere is something about the Super Bowl that brings out the competitive nature in everybody. Providing fun and competitive games can really heighten the enthusiasm of the Super Bowl. The Internet is just oozing with Super Bowl trivia games, Super Bowl grid pool games and other fun games that everyone can enjoy!
