Campus Cutie: Natalie Norris

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oregon chapter.

This Oregon native transfered from the University of Alabama to become a Duck, and we’re sure glad she did. Meet Natalie!

Name: Natalie Norris

Year in school: Junior

Major: Political Science

Hometown: Beaverton, OR

HCO: What made you want to come to UO?

Well, I actually went to the University of Alabama my freshman year and when I decided to transfer late August of my sophomore year, UO was the first one to accept me. It’s a pretty lame reason, I’d hardly ever been to Eugene before.

HCO: Describe yourself in three words:

Verbose, happy, intellectual.

HCO: If you were a natural disaster what kind would you be?

My dad calls me a hurricane!

HCO: Spirit animal?

Rob Gronkowski – he’s not an animal, but he’s something everyone should aspire to be.

HCO: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully, I’ll be graduated from grad school and working for an NGO who helps refugees in the Middle East! I’m a girl who knows what she wants.

HCO: What are you most passionate about?

College football and studying Arabic because it takes up all my free time.

HCO: What are you currently watching on Netflix?

I have one episode left of Gilmore Girls! After that I’ve been told to watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Apparently it’s funny, but I’ll be the final judge of that.

HCO: If you weren’t in college right now, what would you be doing?

I would want to be a bartender in Italy. It sounds like it would be a really good time. I could work at a hostel and get free room and board. But my mom would be really mad because not going to college was never an option.
