HCO: How did you get into DJing?
I am big into producing music and I was looking into the big producers and what they were doing, like Kaskade and Avicii. They don’t really have a way of playing their music if they aren’t DJing so I figured I should probably learn how to DJ.

HCO: How has your DJ career expanded since being in college?
It started out with me in my dorm room kind of messing around with a cheap little $100 controller that I bought. Soon enough I started figuring out more and DJed at a party and realized I needed to upgrade. I got a nicer system and just started DJing at parties around campus.

HCO: What’s your favorite part of what you do?
Just the atmosphere of what comes along with it. I mean, everybody’s happy, everybody’s dancing, everybody’s partying and just having a good time.

HCO: What other activities do you participate in on campus?
I’m actually a senator in the ASUO and I worked on the campaign this year, as well. I’m also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

HCO: Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years I’d like to be in LA in the music industry somehow, whether it’s working for some record label, a talent scout, or actually being a producer. Who knows, maybe I’ll get to DJ around, we’ll see.

HCO: Are you currently dating anyone?
I am actually recently single.

HCO: What’s your biggest motivation?
Making music is just something I love to do. It’s absolutely my hobby, ever since the 7th grade when I picked up a guitar. I fell in love with it, so I guess just fun is my motivation. I will always have music in my life, whether it’s DJing, producing, or playing in a band.
