The Bachelor Episode 7 Recap

With only three more episodes of the season left, this last episode of the Bachelor had to be one of the juiciest ones left. Though Colton did not jump over the wall in this episode like many fans were expecting to happen, Colton shed lots of tears and frustrations. After last week, where Colton was told by more than one person that some women were not there for the right reasons, he was on edge and filled with emotions. This week Colton and the seven remaining women traveled to Colton’s hometown of Denver, Colorado. In case you missed it, here is a recap of all the drama and dates that happened on this week’s episode of the Bachelor:

• The first person to get a one-on-one was Tayshia. Tayshia has been a front runner this entire season. It seems like she and Colton have a great relationship. On the date, Colton discusses something brought up last week: some women are not ready for marriage. Tayshia states that she does not believe Cassie and Caelynn are there for the right reasons and are not ready to be married. Though this seemed to trouble Colton, he was able to put those emotions aside and enjoy his day with Tayshia. At the end, he gave her the first rose of the episode meaning Tayshia is the first girl going to take Colton to meet her family back home.

• He gave his second rose to Caelynn after their one-on-one date. Even after what Tayshia had said, after talking to Caelynn on the date, he believed her and did not let that alter his decision to give Caelynn the rose.

• Unfortunately, he sent Hannah B. home after their one-on-one date, where they went to go visit Colton’s family. Hannah poured her heart out and expressed not only to Colton, but his parents, the reasons that she is falling for Colton. Unfortunately, Colton said that his feelings were not there compared to the other women. 

• Finally came the group date where the last four women were to compete for the last two hometown spots. The comment about not being ready did not influence Colton’s decision to give Caelynn a rose. Some of the girls wondered if that would be the case for Cassie too. The four headed on a train to see Colton. Once they got there, Heather asked to speak to Colton right away. She said that with hometown dates so close, she did not feel she was ready for Colton to meet her family and left immediately after. When talking to Kirpa, she also brought to Colton’s attention that she too questioned Cassie’s intentions. This angered Cassie and they both got in a heated discussion. Cassie, when talking to Colton, denied the things said about her and broke down. Heading into dinner none of the three girls had received a rose yet. When dinner began Colton stated that there was one thing he was sure of and stepped outside with Hannah G. and gave her a rose. With one rose left, during dinner, Caelynn showed up wanting to talk to Colton about the drama that had been going on. Although we do not know what Caelynn said or how Colton reacted, immediately after Caelynn left, Colton gave out the final rose. He said that he was just trusting his gut and listening to his heart, giving Cassie the last rose and sending Kirpa home.
