HC: What are you involved in on campus and the positions that you hold?

JD: “I am the President of The Inter Greek Council and the President of the Order of Omega. I am the Treasurer for Sigma Sigma Sigma. I am also a member of The Student Advisory Council for The School of Economics and Business.”

HC: What made you interested in joining Greek Life?

JD: “I always really wanted to join a sorority and when I came to college I was looking for a way to get involved with community service and Greek life was just that!”

HC: How have the positions that you hold shaped you?

JD: “I really feel like I was able to come out of my shell. When I was in high school, and even my freshman year, I was extremely shy and could barely speak in front of a class of 20 students. I would never believe I would be able to comfortably talk in front of hundreds of people at a time.” 

HC: What are your favorite things about Oneonta?

JD: “My friends! I have made amazing friendships here that I know will last a lifetime!”

HC: What are you looking forward to the most in the next few years?

JD: “I’m really looking forward my senior year of college!”

HC: What are your favorite hobbies?

JD: “Going to the beach and hanging out with friends and family!”

HC: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

JD: “Italy.”

Sophia Pinciotto is a Junior at SUNY Oneonta studying Communications and minoring in public relations. Sophia was born and raised on Long Island and loves to workout, sing, and write!
