The Ole Miss Football Team Takes a Frigid Fall to Texas A&M

All kinds of objects flew onto the field as Ole Miss lost to Texas A&M on a 20-yard touchdown pass from Aggie quarterback Johnny Menziel to receiver Ryan Swope. A&M recovered from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Rebels 30-27 Saturday night.
After giving up the late fourth quarter touchdown, Bo Wallace and the Rebels had one last chance to tie the game with a little more then a minute in a half left to play. On a fourth and one play, A&M’s Tony Hurd, sealed the sixteenth strait conference loss for the Rebels by picking off Bo Wallace while out of the shotgun.
Jeff Scott rushed for 108 yards and a score. Wallace completed 20 of 34 for 305 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. Wallace also rushed for a score.
The Rebel defense put up six turnovers including four fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
It was a cold and rainy night in the grove. Next week when Auburn comes to Oxford it will be the first 11am home game this season for Ole Miss.
