We are all at the time of the year where we look just plain pale except for the lucky ones who have naturally bronze skin all year long. February is the month that it is so close to getting warm, but we aren’t there yet. Warmer weather is upon us which means we want a tan and quick!

I am not going to lie I have once before been a frequent tanning bed goer and of course, you are tan and feel good about it, but damaging your skin is way worse than just feeling good about a tan that will fade. Something I have turned to is self-tanners – yes self-tanning can be messy but with the right self-tanners, you can get the perfect tan and easy. I am going to share a few options to get the best bronzy glow.

Vita Liberata “Fabulous Self-Tanning Gradual Lotion”

I personally use this product and love it! I only use this lotion on my face. This lotion is clear and has a lotion-like texture with an odorless smell. I only use this on my face because even though it is a self-tanner it is also very hydrating for the skin. You can apply to your face and be done instantly, you do not have to worry about a tan color being everywhere and rubbing off on your hands. This product runs around $30 and it sold at Sephora and Ulta.

St. Tropez “In Shower Gradual Tan” Medium

This product is a European based product so everywhere I go since I have been living in London St. Tropez is on the shelves; however, this particular kind is found in Ulta stores in the US. This self-tanner is honestly so quick and easy. After you shower you simply apply this everywhere (except face) and wait 3 minutes, after 3 minutes you rinse off and you are done. I typically use this every time I shower. In the past, I have used self-tanners that create a dark look on my hands or look unnatural and this tanner is not the case. I never look uneven, it does not have a weird smell, and it creates a subtle tan. I use the color medium and it does not make me look too tan, it creates a natural glow.

Tarte “Brazilliance” PLUS + Self Tanner

If you are looking for an immediate darker look this self-tanner is the way to go. The gel comes out dark so having a glove while you apply is definitely necessary for this self-tanner. (Do not worry I learned this the hard way)

What I liked about this product was I was immediately tan and it did not have an odd smell. This one is a little more expensive and runs around 40 dollars but is worth it if you are looking for that dark glow.
