By: Darby Radcliff

The 17th Annual Double Decker Arts Festival this year proved to be a huge success and a fabulous cultural event to attend.

This annual event showed the importance of history through its name, which is derived from the town’s authentic double decker bus that was imported from England in 1994.

This arts festival also showed the importance of cultural in a community because this event served to celebrate and support the local art scene in Oxford, and therefore, appreciate these local artist’s talents by featuring their beautiful artwork on the picturesque Courthouse Square in Oxford, Mississippi.
