Spring Breakers, get ready to party! Those of you ladies who don’t have anything planned, fear not!
If you and your friends won’t be on a beach for Spring Break, I have created an Instagram worthy day for you right here in Manhattan! I’m taking you to one of my favorite locations for a date night or girls trip.
The Highline is an above ground railroad line that has been completely transformed into a park!
It features food trucks, lots of art on display, gardens and most importantly, some dope views of the city from above. Ready ?! Be sure to dress up, your going to be taking plenty of pictures.
LET’S GO!
Directions:
Take the LIRR to Penn Station
Walk West on 34th Street
Make a left onto 11th Avenue (about 20 minutes)
Me at The Highline last spring.
Arrive at The Highline Park. Park access located on 30th Street and 11th Avenue
After your adventure, grab a bite and some drinks! (trust me you’re going to need one after all this walking.)
There are plenty of chic restaurants located in Chelsea.
My recommendation? The Park.
From the Highline, exit at either 16th Street or 18th Street. Walk one block to 118 10th Ave, New York, NY 10011.
This venue features a unique variety of seating areas, including an indoor garden on the first floor with beautiful Japanese Maple Trees. If you get a chance check out the scene upstairs. The Penthouse is situated on the rooftop with cozy seating. Their pizza? UHHHH-MAZING. Be sure to try it. (Advice: Don’t expect to share a pie.) They come personal size, besides you won’t want to share after you taste it!
Cost:
Round trip ticket to Penn Station- $16
The Highline- FREE
Lunch at The Park ranges from $8-21
Total= Under $50…
