Female empowerment shows are the best thing on television! There’re nothing more exiting than a woman who knows what she wants and is willing to fight for it. For those of you in a show hole, or in need of some motivation, here are a few shows you might be intersted in this fall:
1. Pitch Starring Kylie Bunbury
Ginny Baker, a talented baseball pitcher becomes the first woman in Major League baseball when she joins the San Diego Padres. Watch Ginny fight to prove herself to her teammates starting September 22nd on FOX at 9pm.
2. Quantico Starring Priyanka Chopra
FBI recruits must face heavy challenges in order to make it as agents. The recruits succeed in the field are considered the brightest but each have dark secrets haunting them.
3. Supergirl Starring Melissa Benoist
A 12-year-old girl named Kara, escapes her exploding planet and lands on earth where she is taken in by her adoptive parents. Kara grew up hiding her super powers and letting her cousin, Superman, to be the only hero until she could no longer hold back. Season 2 starts up again on October 10th on CW at 8PM.
4. Gilmore Girls Revival
Many fell in love with the mother daughter relationship of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore back in the 2000s. The show ended in 2007 and they are now coming back with a new season on November 25th only on Netflix!
5. How to Get Away with Murder Starring Viola Davis
Analise Keating, a criminal defense attorney and law school professor, teaches a class called How to Get Away with Murder. From that class, she picks a handful of her brightest students to assist her case at her law firm. A MUST WATCH! Season 3 starts on September 22nd on ABC at 10pm.
6. Notorious
The show inspired by the true story of Mark Gegaros and Wendy Walker portrays the complicated relationship between the media and criminal law. This series will premiere on September 29th on ABC at 9PM. 7. Jane the Virgin starring Gina Rodriguez
This hit show is about a young women and virgin who was accidentally inseminated by her gynecologist. Jane’s life is now turned upside-down as she is pregnant, in a love triangle and is trying to get a masters degree. Season three premieres on the CW on October 17th 2016 at 8PM.
