13 Reasons Why Renews & I’m Crying Tears of Joy

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Old Westbury chapter.

Netflix’s hit show 13 Reasons Why has been buzzworthy. Accoding to E! News, 13 Reasons why is the most tweeted about show of 2017. Everyone is talking about the dead girl Hanna Baker who commited suicide and left 13 tapes behind, explaining why she killed herself. We got to experience these tapes through Clay’s perspective, and watch their love story of “what ifs.” Author Jay Asher only wrote one book which is exactly what the first season is based on. The author then hinted that there will be a second season, since we have all been begging for it.

There are so many unanswered questions. Will Bryce pay for his crimes? What will happen to Justin? (Dude had two tapes.) How did Hanna’s parents react to those tapes? What in haven’s name happened to Alex? Did he actully kill himself or did Tyler do it? I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who thinks Tyler is going to shoot down that danm school. *Taking a deep breath.* Then there’s Clay, the sweetest guy ever, what happens to him? How does he cope with all of this?

Guess what collegiettes? All of these questions will be answered, as they announced a second season of 13 Reasons Why. Whoop, whoop!

The show captioned on Instagram, “Their story isn’t over. Season 2 of #13ReasonsWhy is coming.” I can’t wait!

I’m shook!

On the final episode, Clay passed the tapes to Mr. Porter, the shool’s counselor. I’m personally hoping that he gets fired. This is going to get really good.
