Oklahoma State Public Relations Student Society of America and Walk MS: Stillwater 2013 team up for a philanthropic event. The Stillwater community, OSU students and resident of the surrounding areas will come together for the event on Oct. 26 at Boomer Lake Park.

Walk MS is a fundraising event that supports research in the hopes of finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. This event is held nationwide for the National MS Society, which raises money to help out MS research and provides services to those who are affected by multiple sclerosis. 
The finances raised help more than 2.1 million people who have been diagnosed with MS.

The local MS Walk in Stillwater is one of three being held in Oklahoma. Family and friends have the chance to assemble and show their support for individuals with MS.

 Participants can walk or run a three-mile route around Boomer Lake. Both teams and individuals can register. Complimentary food will be provided at the event. Come early or hang out after the walk to enjoy entertainment.
