Washington St. is a popular hot spot for legal, young collegiates; everyone needs to unwind now and then! Often times, however, ladies look as if they plan to unwind a little too much. Avoid these fashion mishaps and stay classy, not trashy:

Keep Victoria’s Secret a Secret:

There’s nothing more unattractive than seeing underwear through girls’ clothes. They are called UNDERwear for a reason, so be sure to hide them away in your clothes or wear the appropriate undergarments for your outfit.

Alumna Meg Sokolosky and senior Abby Algeo look stunning on a Saturday night at J.R Murphy’s on the strip.

Two is Better than One:

The more the merrier! Always go to functions with friends if you don’t plan to stay sober. It is also wise to designate a driver so your group has someone keeping an eye out and will get everyone home safely too.

Seniors Kelsey Hays and Hailey Haworth look sassy and stylish before a night on the town. They also are using the buddy system. Way to go girls!

The Strip, Not the Runway:

While makeup is fun to experiment with, it doesn’t need to be overdone for a night out with friends. The “natural” look is in this season, so ease up on lipsticks and heavy eye makeup. Who wants to walk around on a warm, summer night in a mask anyway?

Alumna Amanda Krewall and seniors Kate Fennelly and Meredith Gallagher appear fresh and summery with their natural looks.

Eye of the Tiger:

It’s been said at least once to all of us: watch your drinks. To avoid your night taking sudden, unexpected turns, it is best to monitor your drinks at all times. If someone offers you a drink, make sure you see what’s happening to it from when it’s ordered to when it gets to you. Knowing what you’re drinking and monitoring your limits are keys to a fun night.

Alumnae Alex McWhorter, Natalie Newport and Emily Caine along with senior Katy Reese all look cute for a fun night out!

Keep Calm and Go Pokes:

Embrace your down time and kick back. College can be very stressful and, while it is an important priority to many, there are times to step away from the stress and clear your mind. This strategy allows you to collect your thoughts so when you return to your work, your mind is fresh and ready to go!
