A lot more goes into Spring Sing at Oklahoma State than just the shows prepared by the different fraternities and sororities.

Co-executive Director, Kaitlyn Hankins, a senior management major from Fort Worth, Texas and her counter part, Mackenzie Wright, are responsible for planning every aspect of this year’s Spring Sing, from the steering, to the casts participating, to the purpose of the show, which is to raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer.

Hankins has been involved with Spring Sing since her freshman year when she was a director for her chapter’s show.

“Ever since then it has been my favorite show! I became executive director so I could give back to such an awesome show,” Hankins said.

Spring Sing has also given back to Hankins in so many ways.

“Most of all I think the community that spring sing creates is my favorite part. I have made so many connections and friendships that I wouldn’t have if Spring Sing wasn’t in my life,” Hankins said.

Hankins also encourages everyone else to get involved with this amazing show.

“If you love singing, be in your chapter’s show. Or you can be on steering; there are lots of different committees, such as philanthropy, publicity, and choreography,” Hankins said.

Be sure to go out and see Kaitlyn’s hard work on Spring Sing, Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
