As sweet as that summertime pool sounds, we have a few weeks of school left and you don’t want to forget these 5 important things.

1. Grades still matter.

With school wrapping up in just a few weeks, the urge to nap and miss class is incredibly strong. But, trust me when I say that you’ll be sad that you missed a week of classes when you’re sitting in your final and you realize that you have no idea what’s going on. Stay strong! Only a few classes left.

2. Consider your options for summer trips and jobs.

With the stress of finals and classes, it’s easy to forget that the summertime is an opportune season for internships and jobs. Now is the perfect time to beat the crowd and apply for everything you can! April is also a great planning period to look for hotels and flights ahead of time to save a few extra bucks!

3. Making plans for the fall semester are essential.

Ah, the joys of enrollment and looking for housing. As annoying as it is, planning ahead for the fall semester is vital to your success in August. You definitely don’t want to make halfway plans now, to come back to nothing! Make backup plans, and even backup plans for those just in case.

4. Know where you stand on relationships.

Whether it’s a yearlong friendship or a new spark with a significant other, it’s important to be on common ground with the other person. It would be a shame to lose something great over the summer just because you never addressed it!

5. If you’re moving back home, start sooner rather than later.

You may think that you can move back all in one day, but trust me when I say that you’ve accumulated so much more than you brought. It doesn’t hurt to start planning now on what you’ll take back and start getting rid of stuff NOW that you definitely don’t need.

As long as you remember these few things, your #Spring16 semester will end on a high note! Good luck.
