A typical weekend night for college students begins with pre-gaming, then leads to hitting the bars or house parties, and finally (potentially) ending the night with someone. We’ve all had a “not-so-hot” hookup before and are still embarrassed to this day so you’re not alone. Here are a few stories that some of our Bobcats were willing to share about their most embarrassing hook-ups.
“It was a Wednesday night, and I was out at the bar. After having a bad night and losing my phone, I was sitting in a booth by myself when I ran into one of my guy friends. He was wasted and when I say wasted, I mean WASTED. I’ve never seen someone so bad. When two o’clock came around, I decided to help him get home safely since he clearly couldn’t do it by himself. After practically dragging him and helping him multiple times after he fell face-down on the ground, I finally got him back to his dorm. I told him I’d walk him to his room, and after that I was going home and going to bed. He pretty much was insistent that I stay and after arguing for a few minutes I decided I would, even though I knew it was a bad idea. We both passed out in his bed shortly after coming home. It was early in the morning when I rolled on my side and into him, when I realized something wasn’t right. I felt something wet and I started to feel the bottom of my shirt that I wore out the night before, and it was pretty wet. It took me a few minutes to realize what I was laying in… PEE. I jumped out of bed put my shoes on and left. The most embarrassing part was that he didn’t even know I was with him that night and that I slept in his bed with him. I avoided him for a while having no idea how to tell him what happened. One of the top three most embarrassing yet awkward moments of my life, no doubt.”

“One time I was hooking up with this beautiful brunette. We had a few drinks and my best friend who was dating another brunette had a few too many. As we were hooking up he walks into the room and thinks I’m piping his girlfriend! He starts yelling at us and when I finally calm him down he realizes it’s not his girlfriend, but he gets really big eyes and says in a concerned voice, “Are you shot?” And I’m thinking, ‘Geez he’s really drunk,’ but I look down to see what he was looking at and this beautiful brunette had started her period mid-sex. Needless to say, it looked like I had been shot.”

“One time I went over to my friend’s house for a small party. We have always had a crush on each other, so I was excited to go. When my friends and I got there, we all started drinking. Well, apparently before we arrived the boys had already been drinking so they were really drunk by the end of the night. Well after the party dies down my friend and I, the guy throwing the party, decide to head upstairs. We start hooking up and ended up having sex. Well, in the middle of us having sex he starts to slow down and I thought he was just being sensual, and then he eventually stops and falls asleep in the middle of us having sex. Of course I woke him up but still, what…who does that?!”

“Okay, so I was in the car after I went to the movies with this guy I had a huge crush on and we were just sitting and talking in the parking lot. Then he went in for a kiss. I drank a lot of pop at the movies and in the middle of us making out, I burped hardcore and it ruined the moment and I felt like he was grossed out. He took me home and never talked about it. I was so embarrassed and still am.”

“Okay…It all started off at a house party while I was just minding my own business. A nice man approached me with a drink. I gladly accepted the offer and we began talking. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was holding hands with this man half way down Jeff Hill. When we arrive at his dorm, we both realized we lived in the same dorm and on the same floor. Once we got into his room, there wasn’t much talking. It was all fun and games until we realized mid-way that there was blood EVERYWHERE. Panicked and embarrassed I jumped up and started to almost cry, but the guy was so sweet and nice about it that he reassured me it was okay. Although this happened, the vibe wasn’t really killed quite yet. The guy suggested we take a shower in the dorms to not only clean up but continue where we had left off. So we both run into the showers and before I got in I checked my hair (I guess I thought I needed to fix it before it got damaged my water) and I heard a familiar voice from the hallway. All of a sudden I was face-to-face with my best guy friend naked in his dorm showers. We naturally both started screaming. I ran away and without realizing it, exposed my whole bottom half to him. Long story short, don’t hook up with guys in your dorm, let alone on your floor, because you never know when your best friend might see your butt.”
