Congrats to HCOU’s new campus correspondent and editor-in-chief Taylor!

How did you first become involved with HCOU? When I transferred to Ohio University at the start of my sophomore year, I walked all around the involvement fair during opening weekend and I came across the Her Campus Ohio U table. The moment I saw the table, I knew I wanted to join the student organization. I wanted a publication that would allow me to have my own voice and write about topics that I love to write about. I’ve been in HCOU ever since!

Are you involved with anything else on campus? I love to be involved all around campus. I am the goalkeeper for OU’s women’s club soccer team. I’m an Ohio transfer student ambassador and a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. I also work for intramural sports!

What goals do you have for HCOU this semester? I would love to have everyone, or at least every woman on campus, hear about our organization and look at our content! Within in the organization itself, I would love to recruit more members! I am truly looking forward to working as HCOU’s campus correspondent with Emily!
