Whether you are cuddled up with your significant other or spending February 14th with your “galentines,” here are some must-watch classics for your Valentine’s Day movie night.

1. How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days

“How To” column writer Andie Anderson (played by Kate Hudson) feels lackluster toward her position at Composure magazine where she has little creative liberties over her article topics. In an attempt to show her boss her potential to write about “things that matter,” Andie pursues an article with the same title as the movie: “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” Andie’s assignment is to find a guy and do “everything girls do wrong in relationships,” which will inevitably send the guy running. Matthew McConaughey’s Ben Barry works in advertisement and is trying to land the position of overseeing the company’s newest client, a high-end jeweler. To show his boss he has what it takes and that he can “sell to any woman,” Ben bets that he can make a woman fall in love with him in ten days. Full of heartwarming romance and an equal amount of laughs, this movie is the perfect flick to giggle and “aww” the night away with your significant other.

2. John Tucker Must Die

What’s that saying, “hell hath no fury like a woman scorned?” Try three. John Tucker, resident womanizer, has been secretly dating three girls: Heather, the cheer captain; Carrie, the head school news anchor; and Beth, a vegan icon and animal rights activist. When John dumps all three and the girls find out they were all being played by him, our main character Kate (played by Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow) is adopted into the girls’ plan to enact revenge by ruining John’s reputation, as well as breaking his stone-cold heart. This film is perfect for any single galentines who want to laugh at the movie cliches of high school, and not to mention, young Penn Badgley!

3. Valentine’s Day

No surprise this one made the list. The plot is basically Love Actually but on Valentine’s Day. Couples navigate the expectations of the holiday and test their relationships for the long-term. Also, all the characters are somehow connected? It’s very impressive of the writers. Plus, we get a cameo of TSwift and Lautner, so it’s a win-win and another must-watch, considering it revolves around the holiday.

4. Mamma Mia!

If you’re someone who craves the sun and misses those summer days during the winter months, then this classic is perfect for your chilly, Valentine’s night. Also, if you’re in the mood for a double feature, queue up Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again to continue the Abba sing-along! Both films follow mother and daughter duo Sophie (played by Amanda Seyfried) and Donna (played by Meryl Streep,) as they each take on their romantic futures and Sophie’s possible three fathers made up of the amazing cast of Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård. This musical is sure to have you and your watch party dancing and singing along!

5. P.S. I Love You

Last but not least: the movie to watch if you want to end your Valentine’s Day with a good cry. The plot follows recently widowed Holly’s (Hillary Swank) grief after the loss of the love of her life, Gerry (Gerard Butler.) Through the course of scheduled letters sent by Gerry prior to his passing, Holly begins a journey to Ireland, during which she relives the highlights of her marriage narrated by the man she loved most. Through Gerry’s planning, Holly learns to fall back in love with life. P.S. we warned you. Grab the tissues.
