Jeffree Star is an internet influencer that has been around since the MySpace days. He currently has a makeup brand called Jeffree Star Cosmetics and also lives as a rancher in Wisconsin. Jeffree has been known for starting controversy and being openly hateful towards people of color.
On Monday, January 30th, Jeffree took to TikTok (and Instagram) and posted a video with a tall man facing the other way and put the caption as “His team didn’t make it to the Super Bowl… But he’s 6’6″ and plays perfect in the bedroom.” Now this led a lot of people to do their own deep dive of who this could be. We are given a few clues like that he is 6’6″ and did not make it into the Super Bowl. Another super telling feature of this guy are the uneven ears, one is more pinned/folded.
Tons of people have speculated that this new man is Carl Nassib, who recently came out publicly, the first current NFL player to come out as gay. The issue with it being Nassib is that he already announced that he was dating a Danish Olympic swimmer, Soren Dahl. Carl Nassib plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however, the Buccaneers are going to the playoffs, which would not align with the caption that said “his team didn’t make the Super Bowl.” Tiktoker, @massacre_maiden_witch, went into detail on the hairline of Carl Nasib, pointing out that there was a harsh hairline on the left side of the players head and no hairline on the right side. Another tiktoker, @meredithlauren, compared the back of Nassibs head to that of the new boy toys head, showing it obviously is not him. Carl Nassib is also 6’7″ according to his Wikipedia. Carl Nassib does have an indented ear, but based off of the two hints, he does not fit the criteria. Carl Nassib was probably chosen by speculators because he was the first NFL player to come out as openly gay.
Another guess is Justin Herbert, who plays for the Los Angeles Chargers. The main claim on this was that Jeffree posted a story of him and this mystery man holding hands. The NFL player has two very noticeable veins in his hand so people were pulling up pictures of Justin Herbert in college where a picture of his hand looked exactly like the one in the photo that Jeffree posted. Tiktoker, @jackmacbarstool, claims that the mark is just from an IV. Also, he pulled up another photo of Justin Herberts hands which look nothing like the hand in the picture Jeffree posted. The issue with Justin Herbert is that his team is also going into the playoffs which does not match up to Jeffrees caption. Justin does however fit the height description which is 6’6″.
The suggested search underneath Jeffree’s TikTok suggests Henry Anderson. Anderson plays for the Carolina Panthers, which is a team that has been eliminated from going into the playoffs. He also fits the other criteria which is height, as he is 6’6″.
Another accusation is Kyle Rudolph who plays for the Tampa Buccaneers. Once again, the Buccaneers are going into the playoffs so that fits Jeffrees first hint. He is also 6’6″. However the problem with Kyle is that he is married and has four children, so the likeliness that he would come out publicly standing the opposite direction is too risky to be caught if he was cheating.
People in the comments are joking that it is Joe Burrow, but just to officially rule him, his height which is 6’4″. His team, the Cincinnati Bengals however are officially out of the running for the Super Bowl.
Personally, I think this mystery guy looks a lot like Tom Brady. After being forced to watch an unnecessary amount of Patriots games with my ex boyfriends family, the back of his head just looks so familiar. He recently got divorced from his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen. However, Tom Brady is only 6’4″ and he plays for the Buccaneers which cancels him out.
Overall, the search to figure out who Jeffree Stars new man is has not come to an end. People are coming out with new accusations every hour with their “proof.” Jeffree will probably announce who his new boyfriend is on YouTube.
One important thing to bring to light right now as Jeffree is gaining popularity again, is to highlight what he has done in the past. Jeffree created a brand called “Lipstick Nazi”, has said racial slurs repeatedly, joked about throwing battery acid on a black woman, hating and being physically violent with women and men, accusing James Charles of being a predator, and has sexual assault accusations on himself as well. He has made awful comments about his fellow influencers and has had many feuds. When bringing these people to light, we must remember what they have done in the past and continuously do, not apologizing and never doing it again. Putting Jeffree Star back into main media culture can retraumatize and hurt his many victims. Should we allow someone like that back into the creator space?
