What was your major? Child and Family Studies (College of Health Science and Professions)
Relationship status: Just started dating someone exclusively from Tinder (and he isn’t a catfish haha!) But this isn’t my first “serious relationship.”
Hometown: Cincinnati, OH (a.k.a “The Nasty Nati”/ 5-1-3)
What were you involved in at OU? Club soccer and volunteered at Child Development Center and Athens Community Center (on E. State Street).
Favorite place in Athens: There’s a bench outside Peden Stadium on the bike path (right by the “OHIO UNIVERSITY 1804”) I use to always walk to (no matter what time) to go think.
What do you miss the MOST about OU? Just being able to walk out of my dorm room or apartment and seeing so many faces while walking around campus. And smiling/seeing people smile and waving to friends or familiar faces (day or night!). It feels good knowing so many different people. It is so different when you get back to the real world…It won’t ever compare to those prime years I had from 2010-2014.. (Can’t WAIT for hOUmcoming so I can smile and reunite with alums and current students I stay in touch with!!!!)
Celebrity crush(es): Justin Timberlake, Anze Kopitar from the Los Angeles King and Leo DiCaprio.
Favorite ice cream flavor: Cookies ‘n Cream or Chocolate!
Hobbies: Play soccer (when I can), work out, meet weekly with my best friends for Happy Hour, and Snapchatting.
Describe your perfect first date: Anywhere that I can wear “typical” athletic/ COMFY clothes and we sit and talk over a beer or a few! Or just enjoy some dessert (like a milkshake or ice cream!)… He buys…and I eat it! And we can just watch some TV/sporting game or movie!..Trust me… being comfortable is what its all about! Especially if you are just talking and it turns into a heart to heart! Shows your comfortably and inner beauty (in my opinion).
What I look for in a guy: Someone who can throw my sarcasm right back at me! If you can keep up with my lame sense of humor, that’s half the battle won right there! But also someone who maintains eye contact and listens. Everyone has a story, we all just need to find someone who honestly is listening to it.
Biggest pet peeve: Lip smacking while eating and slurping while drinking.
Interesting fact: I drive two-footed but don’t know how to drive a stick shift! So I brake with my left foot and accelerate with my right…. (Result of a sprained ankle when I was 17 years old! I taught myself how to push with my ankle space boot on my right foot and brake with my left foot. (I know its dangerous but I still have the same re-action/ reflex time!)
