Dear girl that doesn’t really wear makeup,

From eyeshadow to foundation and everything in between, it’s safe to say that there’s a lot out there to enhance your features. While it’s not hard to figure out make up in the age of the internet, some girls just aren’t that interested in it. And you know what? That’s okay!

You’re beautiful just the way you are, even without makeup!

That’s not to say that girls who do wear make up aren’t beautiful because they are too. What I’m saying is that you don’t need it to be beautiful. Don’t let anyone tell you that you do!

Do what makes you feel beautiful. If that means walking out of the house with no makeup on, then so be it. If you feel best when you’ve got a full face of makeup on, then contour away girl. You should do what makes you happy and beautiful. Just remember that if you have to rush out one day without makeup on so you can make it to your 8 a.m. on time, then it’s okay. You’re beautiful regardless of whether or not you’re wearing makeup.

You don’t need makeup to impress someone! If you’re trying to hook up with a guy, he should love you regardless of whether or not you’re wearing make up. After all, it’s not what’s on the outside that counts, it’s what’s inside that matters most. Your friends should still love you and think you’re beautiful even without makeup. A guy should still like you even if you’re bare faced because he should love you for who you are, not for your glowing highlight and razor sharp cat eye.

And besides, not wearing make up all the time can save you some money. That’s extra money that you can use for yourself on other things, like buying guac at Chipotle or spending time with your friends or, if you’re strong enough, saving it up to treat yourself later.

Just remember that regardless of whether or not you choose to wear makeup, you are beautiful and you are loved. Don’t let anyone judge you because you don’t want to wear makeup all the time. You are beautiful and you are loved, and that’s what matters.
