  1. “Two of the Lucky Ones” by Droge and Summers Band

Along with being the romantic song in the hit movie Zombieland, it’s another song perfect for a slow dance. The lyrics talk about discovering romance and emotions between friends in a moment where the world seems calm during a hectic situation. Though you might not have zombies chasing you, this is how everyone feels at some point during the weekend before finals. Grab your bud and just sway.

  1. “Stay with Me” by Sam Smith

While not being obscure, it is far from overplayed. Migrating a little above the slow, swaying songs, “Stay With Me” is a jam. It covers the phase of a relationship when you’re not quite sure what it is yet, you’re not in love, but there’s an emotional connection between the two of you and you’d rather not say goodbye. The lyrics are catchy and it has pop undertones.
