The leaves are changing color, Halloween decorations are coming out, Starbucks has released their Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Bath and Body Works have released their Fall scents. After spending a good hour at the store smelling all the candles today and getting a minor headache, I have compiled a list of my top five favorite scents this season to save your nose all the fuss.
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin
The best way to describe Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin is the smell of the Fall section at your local Michaels Craft Store. The moment I smelled this candle, I was ready to turn on some Hocus Pocus and throw on my fuzzy socks. The description of this candle reads “warm cinnamon, fresh ground clove, vanilla cream, brown sugar, and essential oils,” – the perfect ingredients for a cozy fall.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
Just when I thought I had outdone my PSL addiction, Bath and Body Works released their Pumpkin Spice Candle. When I say this candle is exactly a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte in candle form, I mean this candle is PSL in candle form. You can smell the coffee and the sweet cinnamon and pumpkin so well I could practically drink it. The candle description reads, “fresh espresso, pumpkin pie spice, whipped cream, and a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar.” Overall, I give this candle a 10/10.
Pumpkin Vanilla Creme
If you like the smell of pumpkin, but nothing too overwhelming, I would highly recommend the Pumpkin Vanilla Creme candle. It is the best vanilla candle with a subtle hint of a pumpkin scent. It is not too strong and yet, keeps your home smelling and feeling cozy for the fall. The description reads, “Creamy pumpkin, vanilla creme, fresh ground nutmeg, and graham cracker crust.”
Leaves
If you have been a long-time Bath and Body Works fan like me, you already know about Leaves. I’m just going to assume that if you are reading this, then you for sure have purchased leaves at least once in your life and understand the hype. For those who may not know, the leaves candle is meant to smell like crisp red apple, golden nectar, and warm clove spice. Overall, perfect for the fall or any cozy time of the year – enough said.
Cider Lane
Lastly, if you love the fall time but are not big on the whole pumpkin craze, then cider lane is your best bet. It smells like warm cider on a crisp fall evening. It will still give you all the fall feels minus the pumpkin addition. The description reads, “warm caramel, granny smith apple, dark brown sugar, and ground clove.” It’s basically apple pie in candle form! ‘
If there is anything you do this fall to get in the spirit, I highly recommend adding the warmth of a Bath and Body Works candle. I have just purchased mine and light it every night and there is nothing more relaxing than a room that smells like sugar, spice, and everything nice. No matter who you are and what you like, there is a scent perfect for anyone and I hope this guide can make picking that scent a little easier.
