HC NYU What are your activities and interests?SM I enjoy playing basketball, watching sports, and fishing when back home.

HC NYU What are your future goals and aspirations?SM I eventually want to either work as an agent or work in the front office of a sports franchise, preferably basketball, and eventually work my way up to GM.

HC NYU Are you currently working on any projects that you’re proud of?SM I am currently the Community Events Chair for NYDM, which is NYU’s dance marathon benefitting The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. My job is to raise money prior to Dance Marathonworking with local businesses and restaurants.  November 16th will be the day of Dance Marathon, where members of NYU’s Fraternity and Sorority Life community will gather together to dance for 12 hours to fight pediatric cancer. It is a great cause and I am extremely proud to be apart of it!

HC NYUHow did you come to volunteer for the NYDM?SM I got involved because my fraternity sponsors a hero named Danny, who is battling cancer. He is an awesome kid with a great spirit. After spending time with him, he inspired me to become further involved in NYDM.

HC NYU What particularly about the cause draws you to it?SM Cancer is a disease that has taken too many lives, especially young ones. These brave kids who battle this terrible disease need and deserve support from everyone. 

HC NYU So tell us how you’d show a girl a good time.SM I am strong supporter of keeping it simple. I won’t go over the top, especially right off the bat. A movie and dinner is usually my go to for the first date.

HC NYU What do you look for in a girl?SM I like a girl who is easy-going, has a good sense of humor, and is intelligent.
