Admit it- we’re all guilty of sitting in front of our computers for the past week, live streaming Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade, and drooling over the New York Fashion Week coverage. If you had your tissue box out for the tears that came with the deep desire to purchase everything – don’t worry: we’ve got your back. Take a look at our NYFW runway inspired looks, but all within a college student’s budget!

A sundress doesn’t have to be strictly for spring. Inspired by Anna Sui’s S/S 14’ collection, throw a bomber jacket on top of a sun dress for to give a feminine look some edge. Pair it with a pair of ankle booties and matching knit beanie when the degrees start to drop.

What to Buy:
Suede Ankle Booties – H&M $69.95
Black Slouchy Beanie – Free People $28.00 *available in more colors

Faux Leather Hoodie – Forever 21 $44.80
Flowery Print Dress (Top right) – American Eagle $33.71

Neutrals are in this season! Pair olive shorts with oxfords and a layered dress shirt to complete a business casual ensemble.  If it starts to get cold, add your own touch to Rachel Zoe’s spring style by covering your bare legs with a pair of cute tights.

You may have thought only Cara Delevigne could rock this Marc Jacobs’ look – however, we’ve toned it down a bit for your daily wear. If you’re going out for a night on the town, throw on black sequined trousers to add a bit of flash, while still flattering your curves.  Complete the look with a royal blue sweater and playful boots for an unexpected twist.

What to Buy:
Black Sequin trousers- Asos.com $47.25
Embellished Pullover (bottom) – Free People $128.00

For a sporty chic look, wear a tom-boy tee with patent leather flats and vintage jeans. If it feels too bare, add a classic trench coat to dress it up. With a looser fitting coat you’ll remain on the athletic side – without looking like a bum!

What to Buy:
Patched Jeans – ZARA $80.00
Varsity Knotted Muscle Tee – Forever 21 $12.80
Jovonnista Trench – Asos.com $81.00
Vampy Flats – Steve Madden $70.00

Leather has taken a spun back to the 50’s with this skater skirt. A contrasting sweater and tan wedges makes it the perfect color palette for fall. To top it off, draw attention with a snakeskin patterned clutch.

Up late studying and it just feel like a t-shirt day? Keep it polished with a pair of cute patterned skinny jeans.
