Are you a fan of ABC’s The Bachelor and looking for love? Well, look no further. I have a perfect new game for you and your friends to play. Participate in an NYU version of The Bachelor and find the man of your dreams. I have compiled a list of eligible NYU alumni who you can include in your very own game of The Bachelor with your friends. From young to old, these men are perfectly suitable for a game for girl’s night. This list of bachelors includes actors, comedians, and guys in tech. Here are some of NYU’s eligible bachelor alumni. 

Jesse Metcalf 

An American actor and musician, Metcalf is known for his work in the TV shows Passions and Desperate Housewives. Metcalf is primarily known for his work in the 2006 romantic comedy John Tucker Must Die, his film debut. He is 42 years old and studied at NYU but eventually dropped out. Newly single, Metcalf ended his engagement to Cara Santana in 2020. Include John Tucker in your very own version of The Bachelor, and you won’t regret it.  

Raúl Esparza 

Raúl Esparza is a Broadway, TV, and film actor originally from Delaware. Known for his work in Law & Order, Cabaret, The Rocky Horror Show, Company, Sunday in the Park with George, Merrily We Roll Along, and Twelfth Night, Esparza is an established actor industry. Esparza graduated with a BA in Drama and a BA in English from NYU Tisch in 1992. He is 50 years old and newly single, as he divorced in 2008. Talented and handsome, let one of your friends give him a rose in your rose ceremony.  

Matthew Gray Gubler 

Matthew Gray Gubler is an American actor, filmmaker, fashion model, painter, director, and author. Known for his work in Criminal Minds, 500 Days of Summer, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and Suburban Gothic, Gubler is a fan-favorite. He is 41 years old and lives in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York City. In addition to his work as an actor, Gubler also paints with watercolor, oil, pastel, and gouache. He studied film directing and graduated from NYU Tisch in 2001.  

Cole Sprouse 

Cole Sprouse is an American actor and photographer known for his work in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Riverdale. He is 28 years old, and his twin brother is Dylan Sprouse. Named after Nat King Cole, Sprouse has worked to leave his mark on the world. Sprouse attended the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU, studied humanities and archaeology, and graduated in 2015. 

Timothee Chalamet 

Timothee Chalamet is an American actor born and raised in New York City. Known for his work in the films Call Me By Your Name, Little Women, Lady Bird, and Beautiful Boy, he has been nominated for several Academy Awards and Golden Globes in recent years. Chalamet is 25 years old and studied acting at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU. He speaks French and would be a perfect addition to any home version of The Bachelor. 

Haley Joel Osment  

Haley Joel Osment is an American actor known for his work in The Sixth Sense, Pay It Forward, Secondhand Lions, and American Buffalo. Osment is 33 years old, and his sister is actress Emily Osment (otherwise known as Lily in Hannah Montana). He graduated from NYU Tisch in 2011 and played guitar, piano, and golf. 

Bowen Yang 

Bowen Yang is an American actor, comedian, podcaster, and writer known for his Saturday Night Live, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Broad City. On SNL, Yang is known for portraying Chinese trade representative Chen “Trade Daddy” Biao, the iceberg that hit the Titanic, and more. He is also a writer for the Apple TV musical comedy series Schmigadoon! Starring Cecily Strong and Keegan Michael Key. Yang graduated from NYU with a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2012 but later chose to pursue comedy. At 30 years old, he is one of the most popular comedians on SNL and isn’t one to overlook. 

Jack Dorsey 

Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Jack Dorsey is the CEO and co-founder of Twitter and Square Inc. (a small business platform to accept credit and debit card payments). At 44 years old, Dorsey is one of the richest men in the world. He transferred to NYU in 1997 and came up with Twitter while studying, but eventually dropped out two years later, just shy of graduating. Dorsey supported Democratic candidates Andrew Yang and Tulsi Gabbard in the 2020 Presidential election. Outside of work, he enjoys meditation. 

I am a student at NYU Gallatin's School of Individualized Study concentrating in theatre, creative writing, and women's studies. I love performing, playing guitar, writing, and advocating for women's rights in my spare time! I love NYU and working with other women to change the world for the better.
