Rina Sawayama

Rina Sawayama will be playing shows at The Great Hall at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on Nov. 1st and 2nd as part of her tour for her new album HOLD THE GIRL. This British-Japanese pop star’s live shows are always a spectacle and incredibly entertaining. Her music is ambitious and built for large scale shows full of electric guitar and drums. Her take on pop music is fresh and original, and her lyrics tackle topics like family dynamics and self growth.

Maisie Peters

Maisie Peters, the U.K. based pop star, is bringing her music to NYC on the I’m Telling The Whole Of America Tour 2022 at Hammerstein Ballroom on Nov. 4th. Her music echoes that of Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo. She’s a master at crafting songs that hit at honest emotions in fun ways. She’s signed on Ed Sheeran’s record label and recently opened for him on a stadium tour in the U.K. Her shows are full of fans that belt back her witty pop songs.

The 1975

The 1975 will be playing Madison Square Garden on Nov. 7th as part of their The 1975: At Their Very Best–North American Tour. The band released their most recent album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, earlier this year and it’s a crash course in everything The 1975 does best: catchy, sarcastic lyrics and upbeat alternative anthems. It’ll be yet another show that will make a perfect dance party, even though it’s on a Monday night. Tickets for the show are in high demand, as it will surely be a night to remember.

Paramore

Paramore is playing a show at Beacon Theatre on Nov. 13th, which they announced alongside the information that they would be using Ticketmaster Verified Fan as a ticket selling method to attempt to prevent scalpers and out of control resale prices for fans. There’s been a recent uptake in artists standing up for affordable ticket prices for fans, and Paramore is a great example of this. Their show will certainly be full of the old classics that we all know and love, as well as new hits that demonstrate how far the band has come.

Bartees Strange

Bartees Strange is playing a show at The Bowery Ballroom on Nov. 16th. The D.C. based artist was raised by a mother who was an opera singer, and he learned formal musical training from her. As a teenager, he started following the hardcore and emo scenes in the South and the Midwest with his friends and started making music from there. He has also become inspired by indie artists like The National, Mitski, and Japanese Breakfast. His music draws from several different influences, and it sounds unabashedly unique and collective. The energy he brings to the stage makes everyone have a good time, even the people who don’t know much of his music.

Dayglow

Dayglow is bringing the People In Motion Tour to NYC on Nov. 17th at Terminal 5. Fronted by Sloan Struble, Dayglow is an indie pop project full of upbeat and uplifting tracks that are fun to dance to. If you want to try out a new band, or if you’re already a massive fan of Dayglow, their concert is a guaranteed dance party and a great show to be a part of. Struble builds a great setlist for his fans and always brings contagious happiness.
