The leaves are changing colors, the weather is getting chilly and pumpkin spice lattes are back. It’s official, Autumn has arrived. And with the change of seasons always comes the desire for a whole new wardrobe. I get it. What I also get is that you probably spent your first month back at NYU spending way too much money on non-dining hall meals and drinks at Durdens. That’s where I come in. I went on a mission and to find full fall outfits for around $50 so that you can satisfy your shopping craving without getting yet another warning from your bank account.
1. Brunch – Forever 21
With this outfit you’ll be hitting two trends that are totally making a comeback; denim skirts and bell sleeves! This outfit would also look great with a pair of black tights and a leather jacket once the weather gets colder.
2. Day To Night – Forever 21
This outfit would be perfect for a day to night look. You’ll look comfortable and casual all day and once you take the jean jacket off you’ll be ready to hit the bars.
Jean Jacket: $22.90
Crop Top: $6.90
3. Girls Night Out – Forever 21
I’m sure you’ve noticed that lace up tops are all the rage. This bodysuit is great because it’s long sleeve, sweater material, and still totally sexy. Throw it on with a pair of black ripped jeans and you’ll be ready for wherever the night takes you.
4. Dinner Date – Forever 21
This outfit would be perfect for a dinner date. It is sexy, comfortable and casual. I love pairing preppier items like a striped dress with an edgy motorcycle jacket. This coat is a complete steal; it looks expensive, feels nice, and is under $30!
Leather Jacket: $27.90
5. A Walk In Central Park – Forever 21
Everyone knows that a day trip to Central Park is code for an Instagram photoshoot. By pairing this long sleeve romper with a bomber jacket and booties you are keeping your look both casual and colder weather friendly–a great way to transition your favorite summer and spring pieces into the fall.
Bomber Jacket: $24.90
6. Shopping With Friends – H&M
I’m a huge fan of the overall trend and loved this jumper version. It looks great with anything under it but I chose to pair it with this cold shoulder sweater to make the look a little more current.
7. A Long Day of Classes – H&M
This outfit would be great for a full day of classes and studying. You’ll look put together and feel comfortable. Plut, this bomber jacket is super warm and the jeans are under $10…what could be better?
8. Coffee Date – H&M
Button up skirts are super trendy and great for every occasion. Pair it with your favorite sweater and boots and you’ll be good to go.
