10 Lipsticks To Fall For Before Autumn Ends

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at NSU chapter.

Although Halloween is over, fall is in season until December 21! Here are 10 lipsticks to fall for and I promise they won’t break your heart or your pockets! Almost all of these lovely lipsticks are under $20.

1. Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Transylvania

This shade right here is a classic and looks good on every skin tone. Since fall is here (despite what the weather thinks) you can even rock this dark lippie during the day for a bold beat. Nyx’s Soft Matte Lip Cream will give your that matte feel and long-lasting wear without cracking your lips up!

2. Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Midnight Wasabi

Dare to be different in this khaki green matte lipstick by our beloved president, Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Who says fall can only scream yellow, orange, and red? Don’t get left behind on this trend to be typical. Branch out with this edgy lip. If you don’t trust me, you should at least have faith that Bad Gal RiRi will never lead you astray in the beauty department.

3.  Colourpop’s Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Tulle

Colourpop is known for it’s super pigmented, and extremely long wearing liquid matte lipsticks. This cool, dusty rose color is both romantic and sophisticated. It’s a nice medium — it isn’t neutral nor bold. Tulle is a perfect everyday shade that won’t throw your everyday make-up look off balance.

4. Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Diamond Milk

This glamorous glitter gloss will be the perfect partner-in-crime to your lip pencil. The Diamond Milk shade has a shimmering pearl shade that becomes the perfect nude for anyone no matter what the shade. Even though we’re missing the summer sun that doesn’t mean you can’t shine baby.

5. Colourpop’s Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in Speed Dial

Get into this rich peach matte lip. I didn’t say we were abandoning our orange shades completely for autumn. Speed Dial is a perfect way to be in season without looking cliché.

6.  Colourpop’s Crème Lux Lipstick in Chocolatier

Who doesn’t love chocolate? The name of the shade alone should have you hooked! I won’t do too much talking about this one. The lipstick speaks for itself.

7. Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Exotic Tangerine

This orange shade is a true show-stopper! It’s bold but not too bright. Orange can be a hard color to pull off but Fenty Beauty made it easy with this lippie.

8. Mac Cosmetics’ Lipstick Mirage Noir Matte Lipstick in Beach Nut

Okay, I know the shade literally has the word beach in its name but I say “Beach please, this is a must-have!” This muted purple lipstick will help you bring some life to your campus despite all of those dead leaves laying around. Don’t sleep on this shade!

9. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Echo

This satin navy blue lipstick is a great choice for a dark lip shade when you’re tired of burgundy and purple. Echo is mysterious, and Kat Von D never disappoints!

10. Tom Ford Beauty Boys & Girls Lip Color in Cardi

This fall season is about shaking things up! Named after Cardi B herself, this lipstick will have you drippin’ all of autumn. The lipstick is sheer, shimmery, and navy blue. By itself it is subtle, but paired with another lip shade as a base (Kat Von D’s Echo would be perfect) Cardi can add the finishing touch for an undefeated beat.

Alright, now that you have the list, I’m sure you know what to do.
