#MeetTheTeamMonday: Ellie Wright

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Nottingham chapter.

Each week we will be introducing you to a member of our team with our series #MeetTheTeamMonday. This week Ellie is answering some questions…

Hi Ellie! What is your position at Her Campus this year?

I’m sharing the role of Campus Correspondent/ Editor-in-Chief with Maisie. Last year I was a Features writer/ Blogger!

What has been your most memorable “university moment” so far?

Probably sounds a bit cliche… but when I received the email to say I was going to be Editor-in-Chief for Her Campus Nottingham. I loved being a part of Her Campus the previous year, but I had lots of ideas for the chapter and wanted to experience running a magazine.

How would your best friend describe you in 3 words?

Thoughtful, grumpy (at times)… but funny – I hope?!

What has being at university taught you?

University has taught me just to completely throw myself into everything – and have no regrets doing so. There is so much to experience and say “yes” to, so have the confidence to go for it!

What is your favourite spot in Nottingham?

This is such a tricky question for me… as there are so many places I love. But if I had to pick one then it would be Wollaton Park – during Freshers week (when I was feeling especially homesick), I walked round Wollaton Park and it reminded me so much of being back home.

Are you a night in or a night out kinda person?

I am probably that annoying in between person. The thought of getting changed out of my pj’s horrifies me, but once I’m out with a cocktail in my hand I’m so ready to dance.

What is something that you couldn’t live without?

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have 3 sisters (they’re literally all I talk about). Life without them would be pretty shitty – so that’s my “something”.

2019/ 2020 Editor-in-Chief for Her Campus Nottingham A love for writing, drinking tea & chatting about uncomfortable things.
