Each week we will be introducing you to a member of our team with our series #MeetTheTeamMonday. This week, Daisy is answering some questions…

What year are you in and what are you studying at the University of Nottingham?

First year, studying Liberal Arts. I don’t expect you to know exactly what that is, but it basically means I get to create my own degree by picking modules from across  different schools. I like to describe it as a Pick’n’Mix!

How would your best friend describe you in 3 words?

I asked my mum for these… Enthusiastic, thoughtful and LOUD.

Are you a night in or a night out kinda person?

Definitely night in. I’m such a wine mum. You’ll often find me in bed at 9pm on a Friday night, watching ‘Glee’, with a G&T in my hand.

Where are you originally from (home town)?

A town in Sussex called Haywards Heath, which is about twenty minutes outside of Brighton. No, I haven’t met Zoella. But yes, I am definitely a bit of a hippy.

What is your favourite place in the world that you have visited?

I love the Alps. There’s nothing better than the silence you get sitting on a ski lift. That’s the definition of peaceful. For me, anyway.

What would you spend your money on if you won the lottery?

Sounds cliché, but I’d probably give most of it to charity. But I’d travel the world and see as many places as I could, first… I won’t pretend to be a complete angel!

What is the one thing you would tell your younger self?

You don’t have to start an argument every time someone says something you disagree with.

Hi, I'm Daisy. I'm studying Liberal Arts at Nottingham University, with modules in Classics, History and English. I like to think that I live in a Bronte novel and am very much a self-proclaimed drama queen. I'll be writing features for Her Campus this year, so I hope you're all looking forward to hearing my many, many, many complaints about Brexit!
