As someone who loves getting their makeup done and feeling all dressed up every once in a while, when I first began adopting a more environmentally aware lifestyle, I found it rather difficult to find products that were vegan and cruelty free at first, particularly in high-street makeup shops like Superdrug and Boots. However, the more I have dabbled into products that are cruelty-free and are not tested on animals, the list has actually become endless… so I thought I’d share the products I would usually grab.
It’s of course important to mention that some of the products on this list are not 100% sustainable, due to packaging and the nature of mass production, however, companies like ELF, Lush and Glossier are continuing to become much more environmentally friendly and are bringing out more makeup products which fill this particular criteria.
