The festive season is well and truly underway; can you believe how quick it has come around? Personally, Christmas is my favourite time of year and I LOVE getting into the Christmas spirit and buying gifts for my nearest and dearest. Being a student, I’m a bit of a bargain hunter when it comes to gift-buying – they don’t have to be expensive and break the bank. I’ve put together some of my top picks of Gifts that are under £20 to help you guys out!

The Foodie Gift

Whittard Luxury Hot Chocolate Selection (£14) (they also offer 10% student discount)

I recently popped into Whittard whilst on a Christmas Shopping trip as my friend had recommended me their Hot Chocolates. Whilst I was there, the lovely lady made me a sample of their White Hot Chocolate and now I get it. It was incredible! So if you have any family or friends that are always in Starbucks buying a hot drink, this would make the perfect gift. If they’re more into teas or coffee just have a browse of their website or in-store as they offer really affordable gift sets for everyone (I’ve been eye-ing up the Christmas tea!)

Voucher for their favourite food restaurant

You just can’t beat a cheeky Nandos. I think gift vouchers for restaurants are a great idea, especially for students – what’s better than having your meal paid for? So many restaurantsz now sell gift cards, so if the person you’re buying for particularly loves a certain place to eat, then why not treat them to a meal on you?

The Cosy Gift

The White Company: Seychelles Signature Candle (£20)

The White Company is just the most beautiful shop. They stock of range of lovely candles, but my favourite by a mile is the Seyshelles one which has notes of fresh bergamont, bright orange and rich amber with warming notes of exotic coconut, vanilla and almond. They often have offers on their products or have discount codes!

‘You do You’ by Sarah Knight (£9)

Sarah Knight’s books are just gold. They’re packed full of great advice and motivation; a perfect gift ready for a fresh 2018.

The Practical Gift

Staedtler Fineliners (£9.59)

For the stationary lover. There’s nothing more satisfying than a fresh set of fine liners. If the person you’re buying gifts for is a student, they love colouring, or generally require stationary for their job then this is a spot-on pressie.

Oasis Double Pom Pom Beanie (£14) (they also offer 10% student discount via ASOS)

Double Pom Pom Beanies seem to be everywhere at the moment and they’re super cute. For the person who loves wrapping up warm and being cosy – this is for them.

The Gift that keeps giving

Present Aid – A safe place to call home (£20) or Donate money to a charity close to their heart

These are gifts that I’ve always wanted to buy for people and I think this year is the year. I think they are such a lovely idea and especially perfect for the person who has everything. I think they’ll go a long way and you’ll not only be making your gift receiver happy, but a lot of others also!
