A woman has been hit by a tram this morning on Station Road in Bulwell, and has been taken to hospital, though her injuries are not thought to be serious. Trams were delayed for a while due to the incident but certain bus services (Trent Bartons number 3 and all the Bulwell Nottingham City Transport buses) have been accepting tram tickets for Bulwell so chaos was avoided.
We are all thinking about the poor woman who is in recovery. It is a terrifying prospect being hit by any vehicle or being involved in an accident. Nottingham City Transport have done a great job, as usual, dealing with this horrible event, make sure when you are dreary eyed and walking to your 9am’s you keep an eye out when you’re crossing the tram lines!
