For years, I, like many online shoppers have relied on reading product reviews to shape my shopping experience and the products I buy. This pandemic brought extra time (and online shopping), and, the next thing I knew, I was the one leaving reviews on all the products I purchased. Long story short, it felt great, and now I always look forward to leaving a review when I buy something new. Here are some reasons you should start leaving product reviews too:

If you are anything like me, you love to share your opinion on things. When leaving product reviews, there is no need to worry about sharing an unwanted opinion. As a matter of fact, sharing your opinion is welcomed and encouraged!
- You will inevitably stumble upon hilarious reviews along the way

People who leave product reviews have a habit of being quite candid, and this can lead to some hilariously honest moments. Some of my favorites include a puffy jacket once described both as beautiful and as creating the appearance of a “rotund bear” and the joke people have taken on about this banana slicer (it’s linked below. By making a commitment to leaving reviews on all the things you buy online, you help to create a more accurate understanding of the products. Often, the people who leave reviews are those who feel most strongly in a positive or negative way about the item, which can create a really inaccurate view of people’s response to it. Leaving product reviews gives you an easy way to give back, a place to share your thoughts, and way to have plenty of laughs along the way.
