If you are anything like me, being around freshly baked things from the oven is dangerous. Whether it is my hands managing to always touch the burning hot cookie sheet or my mouth as I fail to wait long enough for the cookies to cool first, the process of enjoying cookies fresh out of the oven is too toasty for me. But frozen cookies?! It’s a big yay for avoiding burning your hands and mouth!

Frozen cookies are always at the perfect enjoyable temperature whenever you want them. Eating cookies fresh out of the oven requires extensive planning and preparation for when your future self will want a cookie snack, but choosing frozen cookies means they are readily available and delicious!
When I pull a cookie out of the freezer, I am often faced with blank stares from my confused friends, but the glory that is a frozen cookie speaks for itself. Although I often stand alone, I say that the frozen cookie is the way the cookie was meant to be. Sure, a cookie fresh out of the oven is fully baked, but it has yet to be fully developed. It is the cooling stage where the cookie reaches its full potential in flavor and texture. So next time you bake a batch of cookies, I recommend you resist the urge to eat them immediately and place a few in your freezer to experience the delight that is a frozen cookie.
