Titus Andromedon From ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ Explains College

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt seems to be everywhere right now. The show was an instant hit, full of hilarious and relatable characters. But one seems to stand out among the rest: Titus Andromedon, fabulous aspiring Broadway star. His impromptu musical numbers and wise one-liners make him endlessly quotable, and lots of his thoughts on life translate perfectly to what college life can be like.

He understands the feeling of going to a class the first day of the semester, realizing you have to introduce yourself, and trying to project confidence.

He perfectly conveys the horror of a day of class, meetings, and then coming home to a giant pile of homework.

He shows everyone the importance of resilience- whether it be in the face of tests and papers, a night out that got out of control, or friend or relationship troubles.

He knows what it’s like when you’re really feeling your look.

He loves wine. ‘Nough said.

He says what we’re all thinking when we see that misinformed Facebook rant or hear that one person in class with some very interesting opinions.

And finally, through all the ups and downs, he pursues his goals and won’t give up until he achieves them.

Emily Rodriguez is a sophomore English major and Business Economics minor at Notre Dame. She joined Her Campus during fall 2014 and loves to write about style, television, and movies. When not in class, she can be found singing with Halftime, contemplating going to the gym and ultimately not going, and thinking too much about Parks and Recreation.
