Sick of the DH? Me too. Check out these great (and affordable) restaurants in South Bend this weekend. There’s no better way to stave off the emptiness of campus without a home football game than indulging in some great food.Â
1) Cambodian Thai: Authentic, affordable Thai food. Good portion sizes and great service! I recommend the Lard Prik or the Pad Thai.

2) Café Indulgence: An adorable little café with all sorts of sandwiches, salads, and more! If you have a sweet tooth, try this place- the dessertsare incredible.

3) Girasol: I stronglyencourage all ND students to checkout this authentic El Salvadorian restaurant. Although there are very few options on the menu, trying the Pupusas (thick, soft corn-tortillas filled with cheese, beans or pork, and topped with tangy (fermented) cabbage and a light tomato sauce) is worth the limited choices.

4) Ari’s Grill: Located right off of Notre Dame Campus, Ari’s Grill is a must if you are a fan of Greek food. Be sure to try the grape leaves and the pita!

5) Sunny’s Korean Restaurant: A cozy, smaller restaurant with great Korean cuisine. If you are looking for a new dining experience, check this place out. Although the menu options may be unfamiliar, the owner, Sunny, is extremely accommodating and will answer any questions you have about the food. Â
