October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so to further highlight and support the fight against breast cancer, I decided to research clothing lines that donate some of their proceeds to a variety of breast cancer charities!
- Savage X Fenty Collection
-
In honor of and to raise awareness for the breast cancer community, music and fashion icon Rihanna is releasing an all pink lingerie collection. A portion of the proceeds go to Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, which is centered around research and support for patients with breast cancer.
- Ralph Lauren
-
Beginning in 2000, Ralph Lauren launched their Pink Pony Campaign in order to fight breast cancer. This year, they released their breast cancer awareness collection, and 100% of the proceeds of the light pink “Live Love” graphic T-shirts go to the Pink Pony Fund or to an international network of cancer charities.
- Macy’s
-
This month Macy’s has teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to donate 20% of the proceeds from their Ideology Collection. They also have The Pink Shop which sells an assortment of pink-themed products to further promote breast cancer awareness.
- Aerie
-
Who doesn’t need more athleisure wear in their life? This month, Aerie is donating 100% of the sales from their limited-edition sports bra, leggings and sweatshirt to Bright Pink. Bright Pink is a non-profit organization committed to the early detection and prevention of breast and ovarian cancers.
- Olay
-
One of Olay’s best-selling products, the Regenerist Whip face moisturizer is being remodeled into a limited edition pink and refillable jar where 100% of the proceeds this month will go to Bright Pink. Need to step up your skincare routine and want to give back at the same time? Olay has you covered!
- APL
-
My APL’s are the comfiest sneakers I own. I was thrilled to see that this year they’re donating 20% of their gross sales for every pair of women or men’s Techloom Wave Power Pink sneakers to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund. Seriously, these sneakers are the best and the soft pink color makes them 100% cuter.
- Bobbi Brown Cosmetics
-
Pink lipstick can’t solve all your problems, but it’s a pretty good start! Bobbi Brown is teaming up with Estée Lauder’s Breast Cancer Campaign to release a limited-edition pink set of lipstick for $45. $24 of the purchase price will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Now you can shop for essential closet and beauty items, and help support breast cancer awareness and research at the same time. Who doesn’t need more pink in their life?
