With the semester rapidly drawing to a close, holiday parties and gatherings are drawing closer and closer. All of the different events call for different looks, and as excited as I am for the parties, the question remains: What do I wear? I’ve pulled together a few outfits for any occasion from family Christmas dinner to a New Year’s Eve bash so you’re never caught unprepared this season.

Casual Family Dinner

This look is comfortable and chic. The sweater and jeans keep it casual, while the accesories and heeled boots add a little more glamour.

Lookbook Store sweater, $26 // ChicWish vest, $42 // black skinny jeans // Monsoon boots, $140 // Forever 21 clutch, $19 // Forever 21 watch, $22

Dressy Christmas Party

The earrings and coat give this outft a pop of Christmas color, and the clutch from the last look can be reused here. It’s subtly festive and the LBD is wearable year-round.

NastyGal dress, $68 // Choies coat, $56 // Gilt earrings, $35 // Heels.com pumps, $90

Casual Christmas Party

This look is perfect for something a little less dressy or meeting up with friends from high school. Pairing an ugly sweater with a flirty skirt is a great way to dress it up a little, and the cranberry colored accessories play up the red in the sweater.

Etsy sweater, $26 // Zalando skirt, $71 // Asos boots, $86 // Whistles clutch, $70 // Swarovski bracelet, $70 // DailyLook scarf, $30

Formal Family Dinner

This dress has a flattering slim silhouette while being modest enough for any family function. The necklace is a statement piece to add sparkle to the simple dress.

Bloomingdale’s dress, $138 // Vince Camuto booties, $100 // BlackFive handbag, $40 // Daily Look necklace, $25

New Year’s Party

New Year’s Eve is the time to take a break from the Christmassy reds and greens. This sparkly dress is fun and festive, and the heels provide a great pop of color.

Free People dress, $98 // Rebecca Minkoff clutch, $95 // Mango ear cuff, $24 // Stella & Dot ring, $29 // Akira pumps, $70 // Free People necklace, $98
