Give Thanks for Thanksgiving Style

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

Pull out the stretchy pants; Thanksgiving is upon us. Unfortunately our beloved yoga pants don’t often fit the dress code for Thanksgiving dinner.  We often have to save our stretchy pants for bedtime for a quick sleep sleep before a long day of Black Friday shopping. So, here are some alternative, not as stretchy, but still comfy outfits for all your Thanksgiving festivities!

The sparkly skirt adds a perfect holiday flair, but the comfy sweater will keep you warm and cozy on a chilly November night. Add some tights to change things up, or boots to pull the outfit together.

This cranberry colored dress is as perfect as the cranberries you’ll be eating with your turkey this Thanksgiving. The color is perfect for the holiday season, and is simple enough to be casual or fancy. Dress it up with a fancy belt or necklace, or some fun tights and boots or heels.

If you’re just hanging around the house with your family for Thanksgiving, this outfit is perfect for you. A flannel shirt is perfect for lounging around the house watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, while the smell of turkey cooking fills your house. Add a scarf to be extra cozy, and the colors in the flannel lets you have tons of colored scarfs from which to choose!

Add a printed sweater with some black jeans or leggings for a perfect fall look. Pair it with brown riding boots and you’ve got a great Thanksgiving outfit!
