Eyes to the Skies: Keely Bergin ’17

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Notre Dame chapter.

Keely Bergin is an English and Irish Literature double major. Her hometown is Farmington, Connecticut, but she currently resides in Waterbury, Connecticut. During her time here at Notre Dame she will be living in Pasquerilla West Hall, home of the purple weasels where she was sorted into one fateful afternoon before her arrival at FROSH-O.

Keely is an avid Netflix watcher, Tumblr queen, and fandom contributor. She is also very dedicated to her studies and to making the most of her time here at Notre Dame.

“Future Plans?”

“I plan on obtaining an internship during the summer and going to Ireland over the summer to expand my capabilities in the Irish language. “

“Career Goals?”

“I would like to become a publisher particularly publishing books for preschoolers to young adults.”

“Favorite thing about Notre Dame?”

“Irish football, that’s a good answer.”

“Random fact you’d like to share?”

“I want to go skydiving before I graduate”

Anyone ready to fall?

“One thing you miss about home?”

“My family. In comparison to my family what else is there to miss.”

“Where do you spend most of your time on campus?”

“Do you want a spontaneous answer or a studious one? Working in Lafun”

Keely Bergin is a sophomore gem who is easy going and one of the best friends you’ll ever make here at Notre Dame.

And remember if you ever see her around just say Hi! She might publish your memoir someday.
