What Northwestern Spot Are You Based on Your Zodiac Sign

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northwestern chapter.

In a Covid-free world, the variety of NU spots for studying, collaboration, leisure and more can get a little overwhelming. What better way to figure out your go-to place than by turning to the stars to decide: Here’s what NU spot you should learn to love based on your zodiac sign.

Aries (March 21 – April 19): Norbucks

Aries love to be number one, so your spot is definitely a fan-favorite – Norbucks. Aries are energetic, enthusiastic, and love collaboration, just like everyone’s favorite coffee spot.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Kellogg Hub

Taurus’s love serene environments and soothing aromas, so what better place to be than the Kellogg Hub? Taurus’s are headstrong, practical, and persistent, so they will fit right in with the grad students.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20): Lisas

For social Geminis, Lisas is definitely your spot. Just like the beloved shop on North Campus, Geminis are lively, social, and love versatility – Hello! Do you see how many chip options they have!?

Cancer (June 21 – July 22): Annenberg

Cancers scream SESP love energy, so what better place to call home than Annenberg. Cancers thrive in environments where they can develop personal bonds and spread their imaginative, loving, and sympathetic nature, traits that those in Annenberg hold dear.

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Wirtz

Make way for the star! Leo’s love being the center of attention and their confidence, passion, and theatrical nature lets them spread their creativity and enthusiasm to others. Leos would DEFINITELY be theatre majors, making Witz the perfect place to socialize, practice, and get ready to perform!

Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Deering

Virgos are known for being diligent perfectionists – and where do diligent perfectionists go? Ah, yes, Deering. Just like you, Deering is reliable and matches your shy and modest personality, unlike many other places on campus. Plus, the vibes are immaculate – and we know how important those are to you.

Libra (September 23 – October 22): SPAC

For the easygoing, sociable, and charming Libra, SPAC is the place. Libas enjoy balance and strive to create symmetry in their life, so we know they love to work out! What better place than SPAC to spread their easygoing vibes and charm their peers.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21): 1 South – Main Library

With their incredible passion and intuition, Scorpios love to get stuff done. Like 1 South, Scorpios value group work, making the hustle and bustle of this part of Main the perfect place to get their grind on.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21): Tech

Like Tech, Sagittarius’ are known for their quest for knowledge. A Sagittarius embodies a straightforward mindset, so we just know they are STEM majors and have all their classes in there anyway! Tech’s the place to match Sagittarius’s love of geographical and intellectual adventure – after all, you can complete that hard math problem AND find yourself in a maze of confusing hallways and floors to find your 8 am class!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Mudd Library

Mudd: the classic library known for its practicality and discipline – just like Capricorns! You are known for your ambition and patience and are reserved and responsible, just like the trusty library. Make sure you get yourself a cubicle!

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): The Garage

Aquarius’s are known for their originality, independence and inventive nature, so what better place to call home than the Garage? As the most humanitarian astrological sign, you will definitely work to invent something that helps others. You love to communicate and thrive off others, so working in a Garage team is the perfect place to start.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20): The Lakefill

The Lakefill – the prime spot where the imaginative and kind Pisces would thrive! Pisces’ attention is constantly divided between fantasy and reality, just as one feels when they stare into Lake Michigan’s abyss, making the Lakefill THE spot for the Pisces.

Just like all the signs, every space at Northwestern is special in its own way!
